I cannot imagine anything more beautiful to paint than nature and specifically, flowers. This series could not be created without having beauty, color and love in my life. For my husband who has given me those things and much more.

Melting Pot
I find so many interesting subjects that are in a category by themselves. Usually, I do a thumbnail sketch, or use photography and sometimes just a few jotted down sentences so I can recall the image. Then this is filed away until I am looking for something different or I am having an "artist block" day. I hope you enjoy these as much as I enjoyed painting them.
